
Today’s post is from Ruth Hultengren, a long time King County employee who has been talking about her experience with Tom Douglas’ new cookbook. Today it’s our favorite (maybe-not-so-healthy) thing.
“This is my new favorite thing. I just baked the coconut pie for my son’s birthday and it was sooooo good – worth every calorie. That being said, this is a book whose products are to be shared with friends and family and eaten in moderation. No Christmas cookies or candy for me this year but even deprivation should be done in moderation and when you do splurge, make it really special. Tom Douglas will show you how to do that.
