Workplace Boot Camp – a quick workout at work

You don’t need to be a gym rat to get your muscles moving. For a lift in energy and mood, try this express workout created by our partners at the YMCA. It’s customizable for your activity level so that you can set your own pace.

Consider setting a challenge to improve your strength and balance by performing the boot camp two times a week for six weeks, and see how much stronger you get before fall. Make it twice as fun by teaming up with a co-worker and taking the challenge together. As with all exercise routines, stop if you feel pain or shortness of breath, drink lots of water and modify exercises if you have limitations.

A version of this boot camp routine is posted at the Administration Building on the Plaza level as part of the Plaza level improvements. If you haven’t already, check out one of the activities such as ping pong or foosball, or enjoy your next break at one of the bistro tables. Look for the boot camp posters on the north and south sides of the Plaza.

If you would like a laminated poster set for your building, please contact us.
