Onsite King County flu and COVID-19 clinics for 2026

Getting your flu and COVID-19 shots are an important part of protecting your health, your family’s health, and your community’s health. The Washington Department of Health (DOH) recommends that everyone six months and older get a flu shot and updated COVID vaccine every year.

Flu and COVID-19 shots have many important benefits; getting a flu and COVID-19 shot can reduce your risk of getting severe disease, help protect vulnerable populations, and conserve health care resources. Each year, King County’s Balanced You arranges onsite flu and COVID-19 shot clinics for employees who work onsite. Information can be found below.

Schedule your appointment

Employees are encouraged to schedule an appointment at a convenient location. Online registration for appointments prior to arrival is strongly advised. Walking in on the day of the clinic without an appointment may be possible, pending vaccine availability. To make an appointment, visit King County’s scheduling site. Follow the prompts and choose the clinic most convenient for you.

If you have medical insurance, you’ll enter your insurance information into the scheduling site.  If you are currently uninsured, you will choose ‘out of pocket’ on the scheduling site and King County will cover the cost.  Note: SVNA does not accept Tricare and Cigna insurance.

IMPORTANT: When registering for a flu and/or COVID-19 shot appointment, enter your name as it appears on your insurance card.  Regence members should be sure to include the KIN prefix (uppercase k, uppercase i, uppercase n) when entering their member ID number in the insurance section. If you need help with the scheduling system, please contact the flu shot vendor at info@seattlevna.com

Arrive prepared

  • Have your insurance card handy to make an appointment.
  • Make an appointment to receive your flu and COVID-19 shots using the scheduling link.
  • On the day of the clinic, wear short sleeves, a sleeveless shirt, or clothing that shows your shoulder easily.
  • Bring your confirmation code you receive when making the appointment (take a screenshot of it for easy reference).
  • If you are experiencing a fever or showing signs of COVID-19 on the day of your appointment, please stay home.

Types of flu shots offered at onsite clinics

You can get your flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine on the same day for convenience. King County’s onsite clinics will offer the preservative-free Flucelvax trivalent flu vaccine. The high-dose and nasal spray flu vaccines will not be available at the onsite clinics. If you are seeking a type of flu vaccine not offered at our onsite clinics, please consult your healthcare provider or local pharmacy. If you have questions about which vaccine is best for you, talk to your doctor or other health care professionals.
