Activity Centers  
Balanced You maintains over 20 King County worksite activity centers. These convenient spaces are for employees to get moderate levels of physical activity. Insurance-based Resources  
Kaiser Permanente (SmartCare Connect) members have access to the Optum One Pass Select Affinity program, a subscription-based fitness membership and well-being network designed to support a healthier lifestyle for members. Choose from five membership tiers, based on members’ fitness goals and financial preferences, with competitive pricing starting at $10 a month. For more information, click here.

Regence BlueShield (King Care or KingCare Select) members have access to the Active&Fit Direct program, which allows them to choose from 12,700+ participating fitness centers nationwide for $28 a month (plus a $28 enrollment fee and applicable taxes). For more information, click here.

King County On-Demand Workouts  
Balanced you has partnered with Vivecorp to create on-demand fitness and stretching videos. These pre-recorded stretching videos are designed for you to take short breaks in your day for movement, whether you are at home, at the office, or in the field. Vivecorp has an extensive library of on-demand fitness videos, including yoga sessions and total body strength. You can follow one of these videos any time that works best for you.  

Live, Virtual Exercise Classes  
Get Movin’ with Balanced You is a series of 30-minute move breaks held bi-weekly during lunch – perfect for busy workdays. You can check for dates and registration links each week in the Employee News and Balanced You Wellness Wednesday emails.  

 Balanced You also has partnered with Vivecorp to offer free, one hour, virtual and live  cardio boxing, yoga, and barre fusion classes several times each week. King County employees and anyone in their home, including children, are welcome to join. These classes are hosted on Zoom and are 50-minutes long.
