Dressing:

1 small garlic clove, minced

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated or minced finely

Zest and juice of 1 lime

1T honey

1T rice vinegar

2T olive oil

2T sesame seeds

Chili pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Salad:

1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed and stalks peeled into ribbons

Small handful of grated cabbage (any type)

3 sprigs of mint leaves, finely sliced

2-3 green onions, chopped

1/3 cup peanuts, toasted and roughly chopped

Combine all ingredients for the dressing in a container with a tight fitting lid. Shake well. Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Combine the ribboned asparagus, cabbage, mint and green onions in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the top and toss to combine with your hands or tongs. Place salad on a serving plate and garnish with the chopped peanuts and a bit more chopped mint. Enjoy!

of the hormonal balance but only treat the symptom. Thus far,
the best non-hormonal perimenopause remedy seems to be Siberian rhubarb root
