Karla Clark, Employee Health & Wellness Project/Program Manager III with the Balanced You team, sits down with Kerry Wade, Community Partnerships Manager with Best Starts for Kids and Co-lead Ambassador with DCHS. They discuss the King County Employee Giving Program and the Annual Giving Drive, and how it’s been a cornerstone of the county for nearly four decades, enabling employees to contribute to over 1,300 approved nonprofit organizations. Kerry talks about her experience working with ambassadors across departments that lead efforts to inspire participation during the Annual Giving Drive, by setting goals and supporting their colleagues as servant leaders.
“Employee giving isn’t just about donating money — it’s about connecting with each other, supporting our community, and feeling good about making a difference together,” says Kerry Wade.
