Breast cancer screening now available at Kaiser Permanente’s Federal Way Medical Center

Kaiser Permanente’s Federal Way Medical Center now offers screening mammograms, making it easier for patients to stay proactive about their breast health. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) individuals aged 40 to 74 at average risk for breast cancer should undergo a mammogram every two years, as early detection can make treatment more effective.

How to make an appointment for a screening mammogram

Screening mammograms at Federal Way Medical Center are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the capacity to accommodate up to 21 patients daily. Convenient parking is available.
