Getting Started with Mindfulness The practice of mindfulness helps us find the calm center in the storm of life. And the practice of compassion helps us warm our hearts and meet the calm and the chaos with more kindness and curiosity. This 3-week class can help you get a feeling for this rewarding work and help you choose your path forward. With three sessions, a manual, support for practice between classes, and a warm classroom community you’ll get started in “the practice” in a solid way. Mindful Communication Mindful Communication is a 4-hour course focused on exploring communication styles that foster a healthier work environment through improving communication, decreasing stress and building a foundation for a safe, supportive and nourishing workplace.

Mindful Communication asks what can I bring to this communication, rather than just what can I get from it. What qualities, such as kindness, acceptance, patience, lightness, humor and strength can I offer? When we communicate mindfully, every interaction is fresh with opportunity and open to discovery.

Mindfulness & Emotional Resilience Emotional Resilience refers to a person’s capacity for meeting difficult emotional situations with greater equanimity and a person’s capacity for returning to a state of emotional balance more quickly. The key to both is combining mindfulness and compassion.

This 4-hour workshop introduces techniques specifically designed to enhance participants’ ability to respond to difficult emotional situations with both mindfulness and compassion, a combination cultivates emotional resilience.

Mindful Leadership A mindful leader embodies leadership presence by cultivating focus, clarity, creativity, and compassion in the service of others. Leadership presence is a tangible quality. It requires full and complete attention in the present moment. Those around a mindful leader see and feel that presence.

This 4-hour workshop introduced techniques specifically designed to explore the intersection of mindfulness training and the qualities associated with leadership excellence. With dedication and practice, employees transform their leadership abilities and their environments into places of increased innovation, greater focus, improved productivity, and widespread compassion.

Meeting Mindfulness This workshop is a day of immersion into mindfulness, stress reduction, body awareness, and inner care. Mindfulness helps us meet challenges with more resilience, and to embrace the joys of life with more appreciation and awareness.

In this 6-hour workshop, we’ll meet the primary practices of mindfulness, learn about the scientific and cultural roots of these practices, and have time for a hands-on experiential immersion. The day will conclude with small group discussion and dialog with the instructor on your experience of the day and how mindfulness can be integrated into daily life at work and at home.
