As part of this work, one of our focus areas is Mindfulness. This is a simple yet powerful ability of the mind to attend more fully to the present moment’s experience. Mindfulness practice can result in many benefits for teams and individuals including mental and physical health, well-being, and happiness.
Whether you work as a frontline employee, in the field, on the road, in the office or telecommute – the daily grind of meetings and physical work can take a toll on the mind, body, and spirit. Balanced You has put together a toolkit to make it easy for managers, supervisors, and all employees to build mindfulness into the workday. These simple techniques are designed to take 2-10 minutes and can help increase team engagement, improve focus and attention, and support reducing stress especially for high interpersonal interaction jobs. Breathing exercises can also help individuals stop and take a moment to reset during a hectic workday.
