Road to Retirement Class (Formerly known as Exit Class)
Are you retiring this month? Next month? If you’re planning to leave county employment by retiring in the near future, join your Retirement Team in this informative class. We’ll cover important information you need so you’re ready to walk out the door. Road to Retirement classes are held the last Tuesday of each month from 1:00-3:00pm, and registration is required as space is limited.
Before attending the Class, visit the county’s “Leaving Employment” website to read the county’s Exit Guide and get some of your questions answered ahead of time.
Please note, attendance at this class is strictly voluntary, on your own time, and non-work related.

Rev Up For Retirement!
Are you too young to think about retirement? Think again! This retirement overview is for anyone who thinks they may retire in the next few years. With increasing concern over the future of Social Security and the stability of retirement plans, it’s a good idea to stay informed and to prepare in advance.
Please join us for a three-hour seminar featuring guest speakers from the Social Security Administration, Jean Cormier, who presents Medicare choices and options, and the Retired Public Employees Council of Washington. Topics covered include the current retirement climate and projections for the future. Plus, telling you about the resources available to you through King County.
